Bhumibhol dam situation [pix]

According to a user who lives in Nakhon Sawan and reports in Pantip.com, water level in Nakhon Sawan and Chai Nat is receding.

The dam is about 98% capacicity. He talked to EGAT officials who told him that the dam has cut water release to only 50-60 million cubic metres a day now from earlier 100 million as the water flowing into the dam is getting less and less due to receding rain.

Asia Highway at Nakhon Sawan is passable again. Those who travel to the North via Suphaburi and exit at Ang Thong or Singburi can use Asia Highway safely now.

These dams shouldnt have had to release water so late in the monsoon .This directly contributed tothe massive flooding we are experincing right now .These dams should have released water earlier on when the monsoon started 2 months early .
