Urgent evacuation: Muang Ake

Residents of Muang Ake housing estate and surrounding communities should evacuate urgently because the floodwall at Lak Hok in Pathum Thani has broken, causing water to flow into the area, the Flood Relief Operations Centre (Froc) announced on Tuesday.

Froc director Pracha Promnok, the justice minister, said in the announcement that the area was expected to come under 1 - 1.5 metres of water.

"For safety, Froc wants the residents to move out that area as soon as possible," he said.

Better evacuate anywhere you are if there is at least 50cm to 1 meter of flood water with only sandbags as the only line of defense. It seems like 60-70% of the chance the sandbag will collapse sooner or later.

Maybe evacuate before, Like been in front of a disaster, instead of wait until is wery difficult to get trucks and peopel inside the area to help.........
