Bangkok governor Sukhumphand Paribatra on Saturday ordered people in Thawi Wattana district in western part to move out from homes to safe ground or prepared evacuation centres, reports said.

    Does he ever do anything except order evacuations? Oh, yes, he does. But that's for East Bangkok. He doesn't give a fig about West Bangkok. So, I'm sitting here being flooded with no viable option. Why doesn't Sukhumphand evacuate to another profession?
