THAI to begin using biofuel Thursday

Thai Airways International will start using biofuels for commercial flights tomorrow, THAI chief executive officer Piyavasti Amranand said Wednesday.

    Yet another reason I will NEVER board a Thai jet again as long as I live and will warn friends and family to do the same. Passengers should not be “guinea pigs"! It’s not just the stupidity of the decision but the mindset of Thai management.

    Mr. Piyavasti does know that neither Boeing nor GE nor Thai Airways has certification to fly using Bio-fuels. He does know this, doesn't he? And if the the plane is using non certified fuel it will void Thai's insurance policy. He does know this, doesn't he? And if the the plane is using non certified fuel it will void Thai's airframe warranties. He does know this doesn't he? If he does not, he should.
