Police hunt for 'topless' casino

Police have vowed to trace a gambling den that uses topless attendants at its gaming tables to attract punters after photos were posted on the internet.

Police believed the casino shown in the pictures was operated in Thailand and  were investigating whether it was in Bangkok or other provinces, said Pol Lt Gen Winai Thongsong of the Metropolitan Police Bureau commission.

Pol Lt Gen Winai said he had instructed Pol Maj Gen Sarot Promcharoen, the MPB deputy chief, to lead the investigation to locate the casino and arrest all the people involved.

Maybe next the casinos will relocate to the upper floors of Patpong. Then the headline will be something like: Police hunt for gamblers in “have show, no charge” area.

And the no brain solution is to legalize activities that harm no one directly without their consent.

Topless staff are not obviously harming anyone.

None of the gamblers are being harmed against their wishes, however stupid they might be.

The law is unjust and a perfect waste of police resources and public taxes, with no justification whatsoever, except that it does give the world a good laugh at Thailand's expense.

This must be the first time that the staff, and not the punters, have lost their shirts in a casino. Definitely news: man bites dog, and all that...

The Minister that told everyone with a promise the casinos would all be closed in 30 days should now resign for not telling the truth, or upholding his promise.

He has now shown he has no intention of closing the casinos, and again pictures have been provided to prove he is not doing what he promised.

His lips move, and sound comes out but that is all. I think the name for this type of person is "Square Face".

Of course, the Police knows where this topless casino is located. To announce this in press newspappers it's only to give time to their friends (people in charge of this casino) to escape before the big crackdown...
