Patriots go to Super Bowl

The New England Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 early Monday (Thailand time) to advance to the Super Bowl of US football.

The New York Giants were playing at the San Francisco 49ers to decide their opponent in the Feb 5 US football classic, to be staged in Indianapolis.

The Patriots beat the stunned Ravens in the AFC championship game after Baltimore's Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal attempt with 11 seconds remaining that would have tied the score.
