Sixty-one illegally harvested rosewood logs, or payoong, worth more than 11 million baht were seized by police and forestry officials in Si Sa Ket on Wednesday.
Si Sa Ket police chief Pongwutti Pongsri said the logs and four weighing scales were found in a row house in Si Sa Ket's Muang district.Most of the logs were freshly cut and many of them were two to three metres long.
