The government has no plan to privatise PTT Plc by reducing its stake in the state owned company, Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong reaffirmed on Thursday afternoon.
Mr Kittiratt, who is also deputy prime minister for economic affairs, was replying in the House of Representatives to a question by Democrat list MP Korn Chatikavanij.
He said the reported plan to sell PTT shares to the Vayupak Fund was just a remark made by an economic expert after being asked about ways to reduce the government's public debt.
