Didn't the US and many other countries warn about this? Didn't the Thai government react angrily claiming this warning would hurt the precious 'tourist trade'? You were warned Thailand and you chose to ignore, now let us all listen to the rhetoric from the loudmouths in the government.

Obviously the original picture is too graphic to show without airbrushing.
I guess this guy's Valentine's Day didn't go so well.
Who was he and what did he do to get someone that angry? This kind of thing generally doesn't happen at random to perfect strangers just because they are on the road minding their own business and happen to be foreigners. There must be a motive!

BP a little slow to update. Its been reported that the bomber is from Iran. Three Iranians are involved. One blew his legs off and was at that time arrested. Why to go on that fast arrest. The other two men have not been caught. Maybe because they still have legs.

Have they said what country the victim is from?

Shame, and the Government says that BKK is safe and Terror Free, really tell that to the unlucky person who lost his legs, what is the compensation? or will it be buried very quickly as usual. I hope the warnings about BKK return, because it is not safe.

My sympathies to this unknown male. Its shocking that someone can drive by and throw a bomb.
Now we have driveby bombings. I live near there. But i am a Brit we are used to such things from the IRA.
Could it be that someone's valentine date was rejected? as it was outside a school? Inter school gang fighting etc?
