Yutthasak: No tolerance for terrorists

Thailand needs to make it clear to the world that it will not tolerate any acts of terrorism, Deputy Prime Minister Yutthasak Sasiprapa said Thursday.

Gen Yutthasak said that a high level of vigilance and a serious approach to combating terrorism would deter  terrorist from committing violence in Thailand."If they know that we are serious, they will not be coming to Thailand, but if we are slack they will be inclined to come.     It amazes me what people like Gen Yutthasak will say to impress others. They tend to air knowledge about problems about which they often know little much less have the means to control them. It's a bit like Yingluck having the gall to tell us how to eliminate graft, corruption and rorting that's having such a devastating effect on the tourist industry and wrecking the economy.

    nice policy and nice boasting! but prove it... they are coming across the southern border unchecked on a daily basis and have been for years.

    I thought the General said they weren't any terrorists in Thailand and the three Iranians only committed a "criminal act".
