Toshiba plans new plant in Bangkadi

Toshiba Carrier (Thailand) will build a new plant, at a cost of two billion baht, in Bangkadi Industrial Park, Pathum Thani province, on the back of confidence that there will be no recurrence of last year’s great flood.

Company managing direxctor Akio Ozaka said on Tuesday that his firm is now moving ahead with its planned second air conditioner production base in Thailand.
