I think the culture minister has made a boob, boob on this one.

i am sure the police will have to review this video, and many other similar videos to determine whether this is regarded as obscene....

Culture Minister should take a walk during night-time in Nana, Soi Cowboy, Patpong... or take an holiday in Pattaya...

Last season they had a guy on the show strip down to a G-string and dance very provocative gyrating hips bending over exposing his butt cheeks etc. No one complained then?

The minister should know that her personnal view on art/nudity is her own and completely irrelevant in her role as minister. As minister, she must push and support artists, not condemn them. Again, if she personnaly dont like a certain form of art, then that is her personnal opinion, but dont extrapole it to the other thais.

I have even seen classic works of art painted by great masters featuring bare breasts blurred out on True TV. Censorship of art such as like this shows that the authorities have no understanding of art and culture at all. Worse still it shows a level of ignorance and lack of education that is shameful. They would probably want the Tate Gallery to be an 18+ venue.

"Thai society does not accept this."

Judging by the cheers from the crowd, and the comments on various websites, clearly Thai society accepts this. The culture ministry and other officials should know by now that they rarely represent Thai society in general, and should start using phrases such as "The culture ministry does not accept this" instead. Please stop pretending to be speaking for all of us, when it is so obvious that you don't.

Thai society does not accept this. The police will consider whether this is obscene," Ms Rabiabrat said. "This also shows that Thai society is ailing and it's becoming a sex-consuming society."
I assume Khun Sukumol Khunploem, the culture ministers, should take lengthy on the road familirization with what's reality in Thailand our days, referring the sex society, the trade and all what goes with it. Perhaps starting in Pattaya would be the right place.

What a hoot! Contestant smears paint on her Ta Ta’s and rubs them on a canvas. Lady TaTa? The culture vultures and Benz are stunned, shocked and offended? "Thai society does not accept this”. What hypocrisy! And, “The police will consider whether this is obscene". The police will decide? Obscene? The police? Corrupt police are some of the main owners of brothels, strip clubs and “girl houses” throughout the country. They are going to decide Thai morality? The biggest complaint should have been that no real talent painting or otherwise was displayed. I’ve seen elephants do better. Being named ‘Thailand’s Got Talent’, one would expect to see talent. If talent is the main course on the menu, have owners of some of the ‘girly bars’ enter their gifted bar girls with their amazing ping pong ball talents but get ready to duck.
