The poll was conducted between June 25-30 on 2,562 people throughout the country to sound out their opinions on Thai politics.
Concerning the charter amendment bill, 45.23 per cent said it should be delayed for more study to make sure it is not intended to benefit any particular person or group of people so as to reduce conflict, 28.31 per cent said it should be cancelled since no amendments are really needed, and 26.46 per cent said the amendment process should continue because the charter currently in use is not acceptable.
