Reds protest at charter court

About 30 red-shirts assembled under the name "Democracy, Justice and Righteousness-Loving Group of People" in front of the Constitution Court building on Chaeng Wattana road on Monday in protest against the nine court judges.

Led by Wuthipong Kochathamkul, leader of the Pathum Thani red-shirts, they attached a piece of black cloth to the the court's sign, burned mock coffins of the nine judges, and raised banners condemning the court.

The activity was broadcast live via radio and television programmes of the Pathum Thani red-shirts.

" He said the group would later march to the office of the Budget Bureau to ask it not to use the people's tax money to pay the judges' salaries "
How about asking them to also not use taxpayers money to bail out people accused of serious crimes.

"Working so hard they can sit in Ratchaprasong for 2 months or protest in front of the court house on a working day" .

Well yes. or maybe the filthy rich could chip in some of their "hard earned cash" and provide a decent pension for the senior citizens. Instead of "washing there hands of them" when they are no longer profitable.

Discussion 26, basically i agree with your comment but this is an aggressive and uncontrollable minority while the government smiles and looks away from their dirty work. What,s frightening is that it seems to get worse and worse and that perhaps the Cambodia Killing Fields 2 are already in the making....

I appreciated d17 and d18 comments for one.
I think there is a lot of merit in the two posts.

    @ Discussion 21 (bluebkk):

Most people disapprove of the methods of the Bolsheviks et al., but the Bolsheviks et al. would never have been “successful” if they had not operated in a society that was “ripe” for their “success”.

Well i for one would support D18:
I think it is a very valid point, and I agree.
As for D17: I don't have a problem with it. It is accurate and factual after all. Worth thinking about i would say.

I like to thank Bula #1 for his comment. It’s the first time I fully agree with him that “burning of mock coffins of the nine judges [...] was such a silly thing to do. It was negative.” I even agree that people should have the right to impeach the judges if there are sufficient reasons. Thanks Bula!

I agree with your post 100%
Wealth distribution is the biggest enemy the poor, not just here but the world over. If we are have a fair "tax" for all, to elevate poverty and build a "just" society, we need to get serious about taxing the filthy rich as well. After all, they are the only ones getting any richer today.

Discussions 17 and 18; comrade Kim from Korea or Pol Pot from Cambodia could not have said it better! We have to think very hard to know who more except the 2 of you are still preaching the same rhetoric as the bolsheviks did in Russia 1917!
