Security guard shot dead in Pattani

A security guard at the Khok Pho district office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund was killed at his office late on Thursday morning.
Pol Col Suchart Assawachindarat, chief of Khok Pho police station, said he received a report of a shooting at the office on the Khok Pho-Na Gate road at Moo 6 of tambon Magrood in Pattani’s Khok Pho district at about 11am.
He led police to the incident scene and found the body of Atthapol Sae Wong, 31, a security guard, lying inside the sentry box. He had been shot several times in his head and torso.
