Nattawut: Abhisit must clarify draft case

Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Nattawut Saikuar has accused opposition leader and former premier Abhisit Vejjajiva of not giving clear answers to the allegation of draft-dodging brought against hoim.

"Mr Abhisit is trying to argue that the allegation is outdated but the important issue is whether he actually dodged the military draft," said Mr Nattawut, a core member of the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship.

"The country will look bad if a former leader evaded the mandatory military draft."

How about: Red shirt leader Nattawut is not giving clear answers to allegations that he is a red terrorist who urged his followers to burn down Bangkok.
Or maybe: The country looks bad if a former leader is sentenced to 2 years of jail. It looks even worse if that former leader behaves like he is above the law and it looks double worse when the little sister of that former leader, now criminal on the run, is now running the government and does all she can to bring big brother back – and not much else.

For Mr. Nuttawut to speak of accountability can only be considered poetic at this stage.

Maybe Nattwut could clarify why he is hiding behind MP status in a cabinet position he has no experience to be in .PT drops the bar lower on a daily basis .They claim to want to lead but then in power do nothing but fingerpoint , mudsling ,and waste tax money on placating the poor .

"Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Nattawut Saikuar criticised opposition leader and former premier Abhisit Vejjajiva for not giving a clear answer on his draft-dodging allegation."

Has anyone else noticed that Nattawut, who's a Deputy Agriculture Minister, almost on a weekly basis steps outside his area of authority to make outlandish statements? This seems to be a contagious PT cabinet disease. Last week he was quoted talking about the constitutional court.

Oddly enough Nattawut seems very quite about the rice scheme fiasco and the thousands of tons of red onions his ministry purchased that are now rotting in government warehouses.

I don’t suppose he mentioned anything about agriculture, did he, at least in passing? … something … anything?

"Mr Abhisit claimed that he had obtained a lecturer post at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy instead, but records show that in over 300 days of working at the academy he took more than 200 days leave of absence after which he resigned."

What was he lecturing at a military academy with no military experience.

"The country will look bad if a former leader evaded the mandatory military draft" ... speaking of 'look bad', there are certainly some other issues, to take care of.
