LONDON : Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thoungthongkam defeated Malaysia's mixed doubles team of Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying to advance to the next stage of the Olympics Group D badminton tournament.

The Thai pair won 21-16, 21-15. The quarter-finals begin on Wednesday.
