Tough measures at court on Aug 9

The law will be strictly enforced if anyone causes a disturbance at the Criminal Court on Aug 9, when it is expected to deliver a decision of the cancellation or continuation of bail for red-shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan and 24 other red-shirts, including Pheu Thai list MP Korkaew Pikulthong, accused of violating their bail conditions, the court warned on Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Justice Jumpol Chuwong said he expected a large number of red-shirts to turn up at the court that day to show support for the defendants, who face terrorism charges.

On July 23, when the court first considered the petition for the revocation of Mr Jatuporn's bail, the area in front of the court was in the state of chaos.

If the redshirt rent-a-mob can no longer intimidate the judges the fugitive better speed up his pastry box deliveries.

Look, the red-shirts are the "untouchabels" and the police are their friends.

There is for sure no one going to jail as seen so many times in the last few months

I thought that it was the police that should uphold the peace in the streets. Court should only handle cases that are forwarded to them.
But I understand that the judges was disturbed at july 23.
