Wing commander found dead in car

A senior air force officer was found dead in his car in Bangkok's Sai Mai district on Monday, reports said.

Police said the body of Wing Commander Sankhom Yomsrikan, 44, was found with a gun in his hand and a gunshot wound to his right temple in a grey sedan parked in soi Chong Tha Din Deang 2, an air force area.

Police found no sign of struggle at the scene and believed that the man committed suicide.
