PM ready for grilling

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said on Tuesday she is ready to explain herself every issue which may be raised by the opposition in a no-confidence debate.

Ms Yingluck said she had not thought about assigning any of her deputies or cabinet ministers to reply on her behalf as she did not know what issues she would be grilled on by the opposition.

She insisted she had no plan to reshuffle the cabinet after the censure debate.

Don't forget, this is Thailand! It makes little difference if the Yingluck has the ability to run the country (into the ground?) because - she is pretty. Business people and academia have advised against the rice pledging scheme but the Yingluck says it will be OK? Isn't she cute? There is talk of the Yingluck taking over top most position in defense as the killing in the south ramps-up at an astonishing rate! Look at that beautiful smile! She says she’s ready to explain herself without assigning cabinet members to be her voice . . . wow! But what a pretty face – and remember nothing is as important as saving it!

"She insisted she had no plan ...".

Well, we all know that, don't we? She will only do what her fugitive brother tells her.

The comment about the hat made me laugh out loud, but how many times have you heard the phrase "I refer my honourable colleague to the answer I gave before" during Prime Minister's question time, in what used to be my country also?
None of them have all the answers, lah, and I would be very happy to settle for one that at least could do 50%, even if most of that was not exactly, er, true!

Start with the comment that the EU economic crisis would have little effect on Thai exports.

'She insisted she had no plan to reshuffle the cabinet after the censure debate'.

Honest answer. Of course she has no plans; Thaksin decides.

If Yingluck provides answers herself for more than half of any questions raised then I will buy a hat and eat it.

Lets see how many ultra-top level abstractions she gives followed by "I will need to ask the minister concerned for more information".

Could be one for the comedy channel ....
