Court: Bail decisions case-by-case

The Criminal Court does not have a fixed position on whether to withdraw bail for the 24 red-shirts, including former Pheu Thai list MP Jatuporn Prompan, and will base its decision on the evidence placed before it, Chief Justice Tawee Prachuaplarp said on Wednesday.

The court will tomorrow continue its consideration of petitions that it withdraw bail for the 24 red-shirts, who face terrorism-related charges, and examination of witnesses and evidence.

Mr Tawee said he expected the court to complete these proceedings before noon and that decisions would then be made on a case-by-case basis.

There is no reason why the Chief Justice Tawee Prachuaplarp should talk publicly about the cases before the court. Cases should be judged according to the law and evidence not personal bias and opinion.

This will be yet another test for the courts to confirm if they can withstand the intimidations from the Puea Thaksin regime and its rent-a-mob redshirts.

those that have violated the bail conditions should be treated like everyone else no exception the 3 red shirts leaders jataporn, tida and korkeaw should already be in jail for inciting violence, threatening behaviour and publicly intimidating the judges and for giving out personel data

We can only guess what terrible amount of pressure must have been applied to the court from this government to have their red militia " off the hook"
It seems clear to all law abiding citizens that most of these red leaders belong in jail and nowhere else!
