Students beat up teacher

SAMUT PRAKAN – A teacher has complained to police that he was bashed on his school's grounds by students from a rival school when he went to question them about pingpong bombs being thrown at the school.

Panya Channoi, 41, a teacher at Klong Kratum Rasadorn Bamrung Uthit School, told the police that he was attacked by students from Dan Samrong School and their big brother.

He told police he was patrolling near school area because students from a rival school had thrown three  pingpong bombs into the grounds.

    The teacher hit the students first and is surprised that they retaliated. Maybe if students were treated with some respect and not as mini-soldiers they might behave differently. I would never let a teacher touch my children under any circumstances.

    Sounds to me like the teacher started the fight. He assaulted two students not from his school, that he has no right to "discipline". Don't hit someone if you aren't prepared to get hit back.
