Man shot, beheaded, burned in Yala

A trader was killed, beheaded and incinerated inside his pick-up truck on a road in Bannang Sata district of Yala province on Thursday morning, police said.

Pol Lt Sulkifri Rase, the duty officer at Bannang Sata police station, said he was informed about 7am that a man had been shot and burned on Talingchan-Sisakhon road near Ban Lipo Sato in tambon Talingchan.

A police team led by Pol Col Charoen Thamkhan, the Bannang Sata police chief, hurried to the scene.
