A lawyer has filed a fresh application for the release on bail of red-shirt Yossawaris Chuklom, alias Jeng Dokchik, whose bail was revoked by the Criminal Court on Aug 22.

The court found Mr Yossawaris had violated the conditions of his bail. He is being detained at the temporary prison for defendants in politically related cases at Lak Si.

Is it normal that the justice minister, who is essentially in charge of the whole justice system, posts bail for those sentenced under the same justice system? Sounds like a serious conflict of interest to me?
