Rumour on Pongsapat denied

Pheu Thai Party director Phumtham Wechayachai has dismissed as untrue a rumour that former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra wants the party to field Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen in the Bangkok governor election early next year.

Pol Gen Pongsapat is currently a deputy police chief and secretary-general of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB).

Mr Phumtham said he had never heard from Thaksin about fielding Pol Gen Pongsapat in the gubernatorial election.

D3 : Because when PTP people denies a rumour,there a 99.9 chance the rumor is true. I thought even you would know that by now.

I guess it's true then...Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen will be fielded to run for governor in Bangkok.
