Police have arrested a woman who allegedly conspired with her mother and half-brother in the murder of her estranged South African husband in Keang Doi district of Saraburi province.

Kacharin Duvel and her half-brother Surasith Pacchathepmonkol are charged with the murder of Oswald Heinrich Duvel, 50, a South African national reported to have been working as manager of a design company.

Police found Duvel’s naked body on the roadside on Sept 30. He had been shot through the mouth. Initially, Mrs Kacharin and her family denied knowing anything about the murder, police said.

Her mother is as guilty of the murder as if she had pulled the trigger herself. The baby is now in danger!

Oscar was paying B50,000/mth already. That money was about to stop on Oct 8 when the divorce verdict was about to be handed out. He already had custody of Pun. When he won custody of Pun, the mother-in-law did the hand across the throat action in court & was ejected.!!!

This is about the lamest excuse imaginable. Does the guy from South Africa have family? If so, they should have a superior right to custody over a mother who conspired to kill the child's father.

The guy sounds like he had a reasonable amount of money. If he gets custody, the flow of funds from the "rich" farang ends. Is anyone checking on life insurance, transfers from his bank account, etc.

So planning the murder of the child's father, participating in that murder and then turning states evidence makes you a fit guardian? This is just horribly wrong and there should be outrage over it.
