It's time that Thailand followed the rest of the civilised world and did away with the concept of criminal defamation. Libel and slander cases should be a matter for civil law.

Charged with de-faming a red-shirt? Is this a joke? I thought Thailand had a greater degree of freedom of speech? Will there soon be a law against criticizing the government? De-faming a red shirt?? WTF?

Thats the red shirt or yellow shirt way...to stifle freedom of expression by causing mayhem, anarchy and violence leading to legal charges. Both sides absolute fascists that deny freedom of expression and use intimidation to shut people up that don't agree with them.

Asking a question is not making a statement, she therefor did not "slander" the Red lady, period.

There is al old but wise French saying that goes like this; ..." Only respond to stupidities with silence and contempt..." So, miss Nookham, just ignore these reds and their has-been red singer... and believe me...you did well, congratulations, we are all proud of you!!
