Admin Court goes online

The Administrative Court will introduce a new service allowing the public to follow up the progress of cases they have filed via the internet, starting on Oct 29, the court’s secretary-general has revealed.

Direkrit Janeklongthamma said the service was one of the plans initiated by the court in order to create transparency and establish checks and balances on the court judges panel as well as provide convenience to the public.

The service would apply to cases that have been lodged from Oct 29 onward, he said.

D2 : No right thinking person would see this as an improvement of transparency and a way of doing checks and balances.

khunbj D1: whatever they do is wrong, right? Try to find some positive things in your life and enjoy them.

The idea is good. Now the criminal court should follow, but please without password, so we all can see where the cases are. I guess Thaksin would love it and be one of the most frequent users. (sorry, just couldn't hold it)

If indeed the Administrative Court believe that "" the service was one of the plans initiated by the court in order to create transparency and establish checks and balances on the court judges panel as well as provide convenience to the public. "" then they don't know what transparancy etc means ... and the online info will only be as good as the clerk that will type in the info. If there are 24,000 cases waiting in line then that is good sign that there should be a limitation to what kind of cases can be brought to the Court...it looks more like a public service that just keeps growing more expensive by the day.
