Police raid wrong house, assault boy

CHON BURI – Men claiming to be police raided a house in Bang Lamung and assaulted the 15-year-old son of a Bangkok policeman, demanding he lead them to two suspects he doesn’t even know, his father said on Friday.

Pol Lt Thosomkid Pimngen, of the metropolitan police in Bangkok’s Klong Tan district, told reporters that his son, Pimprakorn, was attacked by four men who claimed to be police who forced their way into his home in Bang Lamung district with no warrant.

He said the men demanded his son to give them the address of two suspects named only as “M” and “Oad”. His son denied knowing the suspects, and the men assaulted him.
