Gen Yutthasak visiting far South

Deputy Prime Minister for security affairs Yutthasak Sasiprapa on Wednesday morning left for Pattani for discussions on the persistent violence in the deep South.
He was accompanied by army chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha.
Gen Yutthasak said Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra had ordered him and the army chief to travel to the southernmost provinces to oversee the situation after the recent series of attacks in Narathiwat’s Tak Bai district and in Pattani.
