Poll: Rally justification thin

The Pitak Siam group does not have sufficient reason to hold an anti-government rally on Sunday, say 44% of those surveyed by the Suan Dusit Poll.

The pollsters from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University interviewed 1,318 people from Oct 23-26 to seek their opinions on the event planned for the Royal Turf Club in Bangkok.

They said 44.4% of the respondents said there was no justification for Pitak Siam, led by Gen Boonlet Kaewprasit, to rally against the government at this time.
