Cabinet endorses new SRT governor

The cabinet on Monday approved the appointment of Prapat Chongsanguan as governor of the State Railway of Thailand as proposed by the Transport Ministry, Transport Minister Chadchat Sittipunt said.

Mr Chadchat said Mr Prapat's selection had been endorsed by the SRT board.

Following the cabinet approval, the Mr Prapat can now assume duty as SRT governor.

Dao dis#1, include in the list for privatization BMTA, PTT,EGAT, Thai Airline, Suvarnabumi airport etc. State owned enterprises are often less efficiently managed and in the case of Vietnam, become financial burdens.

SRT is a defunct dinosaur .Scrap it and privatize it .Move on .It 2012 .
