Senior cop caught hunting wildlife

A hunting trip in a national park may cost a high-ranking police officer his career, unless he can prove his innocence.

Kaeng Krachan National Park chief Chaiwat Limlikit-auksorn led a team that arrested nine hunters in a boat on the night of Nov 10. One of them was Pol Lt Col Theerayuth Ketmungmee, an inspector at Pran Buri police station

The national park officers also seized the carcass of a mouse deer, a protected animal, more than 100 mountain frogs, 10 guns and about 100 bullets, a boat and some outdoor equipment.

Well Just Maybe, someone was doing a Documentary, and just like making a feature film you can use a stand in double.
Has this character got a double that he can say he was filling in for?

While some are trying to teach the children & youth of Thailand to protect the invironment & it's inhabitants, we have people who should be setting an example falling down & failing miserably.

Surely photographic evidence is enough? How does one prove innocence if there is a photo? The man should be sacked and charged immediately for his irresponsible and stupid actions.

It looks game set and match from the article. Still I expect it will all be white washed over.

"unless he can prove his innocence."

Welcome to Thailand, where once has to prove his innocence...
Moreover, in "photos found in a camera owned by one of the arrested men clearly showed that Pol Lt Col Theerayuth seemed to be part of the hunting team" "clearly" and "seemed" are contradicting classifiers.
