Thailand-France plan 4-in-1 vaccine

The Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO) will cooperate with a pharmaceutical company in France to use its technology to produce a 4-in-1 vaccine for diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus and hepatitis B.
GPO said the vaccine will be ready for testing in about three years and will be available in about four years.
GPO managing director Witit Artavatkun said medications from abroad are more effective, however the cost is around 10 times higher than locally produced vaccines, according to a report in Post Today.
