Disc 38 - Meme for once I agree with you this regime, as you put it, will eventually fail but it might be in a year or it may not be for another decade or more.

Disc 36 _ The police were effective this time because they have received equipment and training both under the Democrats and the PTP governments.

The Puea Thaksin dictatorship is being exposed infront of the world attacking peaceful demonstrators and monks with tear gas. It is only a question of time before this regime will fall.

"The first clash happened at Makawan Rangsan Bridge at about 9am when the protesters tried to march through the police barricade to join the rally at the Royal Plaza. They refused to make a detour to the Wat Benjama Intersection and First Division Intersection, where police allowed the demonstrators to pass through." - TN, Nov 24, 2012

My gosh, Discussion 28, so enlightening, as usual! I am in awe of your intellect... If you want to listen to the red shirt propaganda, you can, but you need not try to share it with the largely educated audience here...

Just to clear something up here about blockades; take a look at the map of barricades, it makes access to the site very difficult, the justification being that the road runs near Govt House. Fair enough, but when you've got huge crowds who can see the protest site but are now forced traips around a block, of course they are going to push forward. So skirmishes arise, police have a justification to fire tear gas, and the Govt gets to say 'see, they were violent afterall'. All very inevitable, but the police were suspiciously effective, I must say. Another Farce of Democracy.
