Cop survives scary accident (pix)

BANGKOK – A policeman had an amazing escape from death when his car was caught in the middle of a multiple car accident on the highway and squashed underneath the truck in front of him, reports said.

Police said the traffic pileup occurred on the Din Deang highway on Thursday.

It appeared the driver of the first car in the line braked suddenly, and 10 cars following behind him tailgated one into the other.

The car that suffered the most damage was a sedan driven by Pol Sub-Lt Sompong Sarakit, attached to the Nong Chok police department.

    and Thai people will still continue to tail gate..since they all chose to be reckless and fail to leave a reasonable amount of distance between them and the car ahead.
