Hundreds of red-shirt supporters on Monday paraded from the Democracy Monument to the head office of the Chartthaipattana Party, calling on it to join the Pheu Thai Party's campaign to amend the constitution.

The red-shirts, led by core members of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship UDD including Payap Panket, Darunee Kritboonyalai, Prasang Mongkolsiri and Suthachai Yimpraset, later went to the Pheu Thai Party's headquarters, reports said.

They submitted a letter calling on the senior government party to expedite the third and final reading of the constitution amendment bill, tentatively scheduled for February next year.

Is the UDD losing momentum? Looking at the photos I don't see a very big crowd at all.

Oh. So what they’re saying is that they have No Confidence in the current government to act in the correct and approved manner. Well, that’s nice.

".. fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra..." it's like the Bangkok Post either doesn't want peace to break out in Thailand. It may be true that he is a fugitive, but what from exactly? A land deal where his wife won. Or trumped up charges that were put into law solely for the purpose of getting him and then used retrospectively. The charges would not stand up in a court of law in any other country in the world! I mean, it's not like he killed anyone and has been charged with murder...
