Tarit denies bringing false charges

Department of Special Investigation chief Tarit Pengdit on Friday fired back at former prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his former deputy Suthep Thaugsuban for accusing him of laying false murder charges against them.

Mr Tarit said the DSI had taken every proper step in the case and the accused have the right to file complaints  as they see fit.

On Thursday, Mr Abhisit and Mr Suthep refused to sign documents accepting conditions for release on bail.

These ridiculous charges firmly establish that with the election of PT, Thailand has leaped backwards into resuming being a backward nation once again.

Well, now that K. Abhisit and K. Suthep have appeared to answer the charges and disappointed certain posters, who apparently sought to defame them in advance, when will K. T. be stripped of his police rank, be charged with various murders in his drug war (etc.), and appear in Thailand to answer the charges? I think we all know the answers to those questions.

More about not being transferred to an inactive post and less about an objective investigation.

I am afraid Tarit's days are counted. He has gone over the threshold of decency and has serious problems in hiding his sympathy for the red shirts and the PT. More than one mistake will grill him and once this disgusting murder-case-show will be over the counters, which are already predictable, will be straight en without mercy. Poor Tarit, you have tried well but not good enough. It will take more than one Tarit to bring AV down!

.. it was co-signed by Panupong Chotisin, deputy director general of the Office of the Attorney General's special litigation department,
And of course, the Office of the Attorney General comes under direct supervision of the Justice Ministry. And the Justice Minister is Pracha Promnok who belongs to the Pheu Thai party. This harassing of Abhisit and Suthep will backfire for the government and madam PM.

Tarit is a man with no shame.

Tarit should be careful about his actions, does he know a bommerang ?

Tarit would no longer recognize truth if he met her
