RE: D8....so has been found guilty? do you think he should be penalized before the trial? So you are saying just because the DP files charges...then he must be guilty and no trial is needed? Abhist does not have the authority to order "stop the protests and leave BKK" nor does Yingluck, if he has reason to want the street open he should have called out the police as did Yingluck a few weeks ago and handled it the same way. There was no need to shoot into crowds killing unarmed people.

It's my belief that Thailand has the rule of parliamentary immunity precisely because the judiciary are invariably "influenced" by the government of the day, and this is the only way to protect elected MPs from the vagaries of the lop-sided Thai justice system.

So Korkaew is put in jail, as he's not considered in sound mind and as such, seen as a dangerous threat to society.

However, he's still suitable to conduct his Parliamentary duties.

The lunatics are indeed running the asylum.

bkposter. D#6 ... Because not even the DSI believes that Abhisit is a murderer. And yes I believe Korkaew is a risk for society.
And stop the argumentation ... "They did, so we can do". Not even clever children do this.

bkposter, off base, as usual! Abhisit is not out on bail, he was released after acknowledging the charges against him, so there was not bail conditions as there was no bail needed!!

I think this is a good article.

D3....He is no more guilty at this point than Abhisit is.

Ok, Korkaew Pikulthong said if the courts decision did not go PT's way then there will be a civil war and told everyone to come out in force and start a war.

Abhisit gave a warning to the PT thugs saying to stop the protests and leave Bangkok and stop shooting our soldiers and stop setting up tyre barricades and stop leaving innocent citizens with out an income or we will have to forcefully remove you.

Pretty easy which guy is right!!

Assuming that the Democrats get back into power and they annul this immunity law, if / when Thaksin gets back into power again, he will only implement the immunity law again as he needs it for his cronies. The people have to say in no uncertain terms that they object to the law for it to change. Unlikely, of course with the influence of Thaksin's Kamnan - Poo Yai Baht Association, his Red Shirt Academies, and the influence of his Red Shirt Federation.
