Oh please. Nov 2011 vs Nov 2012??? That's comparing a flood crisis month with a non-flood crisis month. It's a useless statistic. And it should not have been reported by the Bangkok Post without clear reference to the floods. This gives the misleading illusion of export growth. Nothing could be further from the truth. January to November exports are up a mere 2.3% from Jan-November year-over-year. This shows how absurd the 26% number is. Meanwhile, IMPORTS are up 8.55% which shows an INCREASING trade deficit. So let's have some honesty: Thailand lost on balance of trade this year and did worse this year than the previous year.
