Female cabbie's attackers arrested

Two men have been arrested for the vicious attack on a woman taxi driver early Tuesday morning, and a third suspect is being hunted, police said on Thursday.

Police said they had identified the three men involved in the robbery and assault, during which cabbie Boonchuay Thongtae, 53, was stabbed in the throat, thrown from the vehicle and then run over.

The two arrested men are Sadutdee Hongprasert and Thitipong Laonukul, both 25 years old. The third suspect was identified only as Golf.

    People badmouth the Thai Police, but when these horrendous over the top crimes happen, the police usually solve them quite efficiently. If proven guilty at trial, hope these monsters never see freedom again.
