Man swallows B3m in drugs

RAYONG – Police on Friday arrested a man who swallowed 52.5 grammes of crystal methamphetamines (ya ice) and 22.5 grammes of cannabis, with a combined street value of about 3 million baht.

The arrest followed a sting operation at a hotel in Baan Kai district where police found Kiadtikun Panwongsa, 24, and seized a small package containing 7.68 grammes of marijuana.

Investigators said the man refused to co-operate in the interrogation and asked to be gtaken to jail. Officers then had him x-rayed and discovered 21 packages of crystal meth and five packages of dried marijuana.

Their should be jail warden in the prison who are proecting this illigal transaction. Again, this corrupt practices boilsdown to the corrupt and incompetence of the concern authorities to really enforce the laws

Something wrong with the numbers or maybe prisoners are making a lot of money. Just 22 grams of cannabis would probably be worth THB 1,000 retail on the streets and 50 grams of Ice around THB 500,000. But in prison this much nets THB 3 Million! Good place for a Starbucks with that kind of disposable income!
