"The reports were backed up by some pictures and videos clips of him appearing inebriated", no-one knows if he was for sure. Good to see he owned up so an article could be written!! Five people drinking eight bottles, not much really....I'll enjoy mine again tonight as others in this discussion will also."

8 bottles for 5 people is not a normal intake even assuming shared equally, which well may not be the case. Thank you for your enlightening post, we now know alcoholism has a voice.

@jacksprat #50: If Abhisit would get drunk in public that would be real headline news because nobody would suspect such a behavior from Abhisit.
Chalerm getting drunk is currently only a short message in the breaking news section. I guess soon it won’t be reported anymore when Chalerm is drunk because it happens so often. But maybe in a year we will have a headline like “Chalerm already abstinent since one week”. Now that would be the top news of that day or week.

Do you mean that Chalerm buy his flight ticket to see his friends with the tax payer money ????

Question: How is it possible that a cabinet member on an official trip, paid for by tax payers, is ever not "on duty"?

Question: How can a public figure, while traveling on official state business claim "privacy", as he is conducting himself in an embarrassing manner in public?

    I rest my case!

We have our Deputy PM getting drunk in a foreign country while in his official capacity for the country, while active-duty members of our Military are out protesting against a media outlet. What is going on in Thailand? How low can we go?

"Is BP becoming a tabloid?" Would you say that if it had been Suthep or Abhisit?

  • Discussion 56 : 12 Jan 2013 at 14.1656

"In Malaysia it really takes an effort to get drunk, because alcohol is not available every where." Alcohol is very hard to find in Malaysia, unless you go to the nearest 7-Eleven, where you can buy it 24 hours a day (unlike Thailand).

Maybe the real purpose of the trip was to get drunk with his friends.
