    Disc 9.

agree. Why? is my first question.

I play piano reasonably well, but have no plans to make it to Carnegie Hall, even with all the practice.

I love skiing. I am 64 and still ski the back diamonds (hardest) runs. So good luck Vanessa-Mae.

Vanessa you better bulk up if you have a hope.
D2: looks like you have some catching up to do - guess what it is now legal for Thais to hold dual nationalities and has been for a number of years.

This is great. Why aren't those members of the Thai Government being more helpful? Is there a long line of Thais waiting to compete in the Winter Olympics? Why not just support her and take some free publicity for her and Thailand as a human interest story.

As I understand it, Thailand does now recognise dual citizenship. Anyway one cannot give up British citizenship. Lord Haw Haw found that out the hard way when he renounced his UK citizenship and became a German citizen, broadcasting for the Nazis. After the war, the Brits hanged him as a traitor anyway.

Wow... She got real old... real fast!

" Thai authorities at that time requested that she give up her British passport in exchange for a Thai passport."

Can someone please explain why Thailand has such a problem with dual nationality? Is it yet another way to make citizenship through naturalisation virtually impossible? More fear of colonialism? No one in their right mind would give up EU citizenship, with the rights and benefits that bestows, in favour of Thai nationality. So imposing this rule effectively rules out naturalization in 99% of cases. Although, if you are famous, or mega wealthy, they will make an exception

She could represent Thailand in many ways. She is great!
