It would be interesting to see all the constant complainers about Thai Police corruption make some of their usual negative comments, when reading a story about a policeman putting his life on the line serving a warrant to do his duty in the effort to help curb the drug problem faced by Thailand. Best of luck and good wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Pol Sub-Lt Prayong. Thank you, to you and all the good cops out there.

"...Pol Sub-Lt Prayong was a member of a police team that went to a house in Ban Khok Noi in tambon Huay Yang in Tha Khantho district to arrest Uma Saenkung and her husband Pairat Wongchalee."

Well, if Pol Sub-Lt Prayyong was part of a team to make an arrest, how did the shooter manage to steal the police car? Was was the police team doing?

Another victim of the total failure that is current drug policy.

When might a ray of sanity permeate the murk?
