Yingluck: I am the real prime minister

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Thursday brushed aside a report in the New York Times that during her year-and-a-half in office most of the important political decisions were made via Skype from overseas by her elder brother and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Ms Yingluck insisted she is the real prime minister, that she runs the administration of the country and that policy-level decisions are made by the cabinet under her leadership, when asked by reporters to comment on the New York Times report.

Typical smoke and mirrors...and the Thai people let it slide right on by. Very sad.

If Yingluck was the real PM, she wouldn't have to keep reminding everyone. Even her brother said that she is just his clone.

Unfortunately, her past efforts and actions support this.

“...most of the important political decisions were made via Skype from overseas by her elder brother”.
Most of them? I was led to believe from reading various news articles that ALL important decisions came from Dubai. As they say ‘don’t believe everything you read in the newspapers’.
