Many MPs failing to cast votes

Most House members attend the majority of parliamentary sessions, but many fail to cast their votes, a Chulalongkorn University study has found.

Charas Suwanmala, dean of Chulalongkorn University’s faculty of political science, releases meeting attendance records of MPs and senators. APICHART JINAKUL

The study, compiled by the university's faculty of political science, revealed Democrat Party MPs were the worst offenders when it came to skipping parliamentary votes, while Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was one of 11 MPs with the worst attendance records.

One problem is that the current government is not worth listening to. Another is the fact that the Dems desperately needs a massive face-lift and some worthwhile policies to get the voters positive attention.
Voters are only given bad choices. None of the current parties are worth a vote. It's time for something new. Khun Voranai? Khun Songkran? Hello.

House members attended 95% of parliamentary sessions on average.

Well 95% on average seems not too bad.

I guess Yingluck’s business was often being on the phone with big brother. Some might consider that as some kind of “parliamentary session”.
And about the DEMs: Would it really make a difference if they hear what Chalerm and Co pretend to do? I.e. would they understand and appreciate the rice pledging scheme any better if they would attend the sessions? Or should the listen to the PT version of reconciliation? Most Hollywood movies are more truthful.
