Victims slam outgoing pope

SYDNEY - An Australian group representing the victims of sexual abuse has welcomed Pope Benedict XVI's resignation, saying he had done little to stop "the reign of terror of child rapist priests", a report said.

The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) issued a statement calling for the next pontiff to be more cooperative with inquiries into abuse claims, according to a report by the Australian Associated Press (AAP).

Spokeswoman Nicky Davis said: ''Victims welcome the resignation of a church official with immense power who has done so little to stop the reign of terror of child rapist priests.

    The Bible never prohibits priests from marrying and having children. So, it seems to me that if the Roman Catholic Church stops deviating from simple, and straightforward biblical doctrine, none of these abominations would ever happen.

    Pope John Paul II got shot and he was always sick. But he never quits. Whatever, i never really did trust Pope Benedict's evil eyes.. The Illuminati must have scared him off "OR" he's a pure pledge member. "OR" maybe the soon to be Pope has something important to black-mail him. Either way, we all know that they're all corrupted weighing back the centuries. (rolls eyes)
