Teacher stabbed by 'ill' student

PHITSANULOK - A student with a history of mental illness allegedly stabbed a teacher yesterday with a 30cm blade.

Banjong Inthuphum, 37, a teacher at Chat Trakan Witthaya School in Chat Trakan district was in a critical condition following the attack, police said.

Mr Banjong's condition has since stabilised and he is expected to survive.
