With Valentine's Day upon us, prices of roses in Thailand are the highest in the world, according to a popular flower and bouquet delivery business.

The average price of a dozen roses in other countries is 3,000 baht, but the price in Thailand is about 4,000 baht, Rawat Chindapol, chief executive officer of Miss Lily Flower, said on Wednesday.

This can be said just about everywhere, even in the West.

It's basically a meaningless, empty-headed Hallmark greeting card day.

The excessiveness of it in Thailand among teenagers and young adults speaks to the triteness and shallowness of the younger generation here.

D#2 You have not been here long. In the bars you hang out in those roses are probable sold 10 times in a night. Next day they will be sold again until they have wilted along with your wallet. LOL. Enjoy your lifestyel.
